- 4 cups grated carrots
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- ½ cup GREENSFUD CASHEW HALVES
- ½ cup GREENSFUD RAISINS
- 1 pinch ground GREENSFUD CARDAMOM
- Carrots and milk should be combined in a pan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 10 minutes or until the milk has mostly evaporated. Add sugar, then boil the mixture until it is dry. To prevent burning, stir continuously. Get rid of the heat.
- In a skillet set over medium heat, melt the butter. Raisins and cashews should be sautéed together until the cashews turn golden brown. Over the carrot mixture, spread. Cardamom powder should be sprinkled on top for flavor.
