Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 2 ½ tablespoons white sugar
- ½ teaspoon GREENSFUD HIMALAYAN PINK SALT
- 2 tablespoons GREENSFUD OLIVE OIL
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying as required
- ½ cup white sugar, or to taste
- 1 teaspoon GREENSFUD CINNAMON EXTRACT
Instructions
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine water, 2 1/2 tablespoons sugar, salt, and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil. After coming to a boil, turn off the heat. Add flour and continue stirring until a ball form.
- In a deep fryer or deep pot, heat the frying oil to 375 °F. (190°C).
- Dough should be transferred into a sturdy pastry bag with a medium star tip. To avoid overcrowding the fryer, carefully pipe a few 5- to 6-inch strips of dough into the heated oil. Churros should be cooked until golden before being transferred to paper towels to drain.
- Combine 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon extract. Roll drained churros in cinnamon extract and sugar mixture.
