Ingredients
- 500 g fine noodles (vermicelli or angels’ hair pasta)
- 200 g melted unsalted butter
- 8 large eggs
- 400 g caster sugar
- 1 tsp GREENSFUD VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 pinch of GREENSFUD HIMALAYAN PINK SALT
- 1 kg cottage cheese
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 170ºC/150°C Fan/325ºF.
- Prepare the noodles and set them aside. To get perfect lokshen, make shorter strands of very fine noodles. Allow the butter to cool slightly after melting it. The eggs should be beaten.
- Combine the sugar, vanilla, eggs, salt, and cottage cheese with the warm or cooled, but not hot, melted butter. Mix well after adding the noodles. Put in a pan that is roughly 23 x 32 cm (9 x 13 inches; 14 cup capacity) in size, and bake for 1 hour to 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until the top is just golden where the buttery pasta threads have caught in the heat.
