BUTTERY CINNAMON ROLLS

Ingredients

Buttery Cinnamon Rolls

  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ cup milk
  • ¼ cup plus 6 tablespoon butter, melted
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • 2 teaspoon butter extract
  • 2 teaspoon GREENSFUD VANILLA EXTRACT
  • ½ cup GREENSFUD JAGGERY POWDER
  • 2 teaspoons GREENSFUD CINNAMON EXTRACT

Glaze

  • 1 cup GREENSFUD NATURAL HONEY
  • 1/4 package cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoon GREENSFUD VANILLA EXTRACT
  • 1 teaspoon milk

 

Instructions

  1. For the cinnamon rolls, preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add milk, 14 cup melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla; stir to combine. Roll out dough to a 15 x 11-inch rectangle on a lightly floured work surface.
  2. Mix jaggery powder and cinnamon extract in a small bowl. Brush the dough with the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with jaggery powder. Roll up the rectangle from the long end into a log.
  3. Cut the log into 12 rolls. Place it cut-side down in a 9-inch round baking pan.
  4. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, for the glaze, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.

Notes

Muffin Pan: Place each roll in a muffin cup. Reduce bake time to 12 to 15 minutes.
