Ingredients
Buttery Cinnamon Rolls
- 2 ½ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ cup milk
- ¼ cup plus 6 tablespoon butter, melted
- ¼ cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoon butter extract
- 2 teaspoon GREENSFUD VANILLA EXTRACT
- ½ cup GREENSFUD JAGGERY POWDER
- 2 teaspoons GREENSFUD CINNAMON EXTRACT
Glaze
- 1 cup GREENSFUD NATURAL HONEY
- 1/4 package cream cheese, softened
- 2 teaspoon GREENSFUD VANILLA EXTRACT
- 1 teaspoon milk
Instructions
- For the cinnamon rolls, preheat the oven to 350°F. Mix flour and baking powder in a large bowl. Add milk, 14 cup melted butter, sour cream, and vanilla; stir to combine. Roll out dough to a 15 x 11-inch rectangle on a lightly floured work surface.
- Mix jaggery powder and cinnamon extract in a small bowl. Brush the dough with the remaining 6 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle with jaggery powder. Roll up the rectangle from the long end into a log.
- Cut the log into 12 rolls. Place it cut-side down in a 9-inch round baking pan.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Meanwhile, for the glaze, mix all ingredients in a medium bowl until smooth. Drizzle over warm cinnamon rolls.
Notes
Muffin Pan: Place each roll in a muffin cup. Reduce bake time to 12 to 15 minutes.
